If you have credit and store cards you will have experienced times when you have missed a payment for one of several reasons or you have exceeded your limit even for one day.
Credit cards love you to miss a payment or two or hit your limit because this gives them an excuse to fine you between £12 and £35 each and every time.
The reason why we call these unlawful charges is simple; the credit card provider are not allowed to charge you as much as they do. Of course we enjoy pointing this out and reclaiming back all your money plus interest within a few short weeks.
Over the last 72 months ie 6 years your card provider who has added these unlawful fees to your cards on many occasions and this could have added up to £thousands could be made to pay it back with interest added too.
All credit card providers have been making these unlawful charges including Egg, MBNA, Barclays, Halifax, The Natwest, RBS, HSBC, Sainsburies, Virgin, Monument, Citi and many many more.
Blue Sky's job is to review and audit all your credit and store card statements (that we will get) and calculate how much they have charged you, add the interest they charged you and then add 8% on top.
This means that if you were charged £35 5 ½ years ago with interest Blue Sky will recover around £150. If the bank have charged you on around 20 occasions then this could add up to £1500 plus.
We find that many of the credit and store cards that we audit have at least one unlawful charge and we recover these unlawful charges for you.
